Instructor/Facilitators

Location: Edmonton, AB

Our Instructor/Facilitators provide meaningful learning experiences to our customers. Qualifications that we typically look for in our team members include:

  • Post-Secondary education in Career Development, Human Resources, Social Sciences or related fields.
  • Adult education background
  • Experience in providing a variety of workshops in the areas of personal and professional development (Career Planning, Job Search Techniques, Resume Development, Social Media for Job Search, Financial Management & Entrepreneurship)
  • Ability to deliver workshops for persons requiring specialized services
  • Experience in facilitating group interaction and providing coaching with a client-centered focus
  • Extensive knowledge of the Edmonton and area labour market and the business and education communities
  • Computer proficiency (WORD, PPT, G Suite, Social Media)
  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Understanding of the role of facilitator, the stages of group development, group roles and group leadership theories
  • Demonstrate techniques used in structuring group activities
  • Display positive self-concept
  • Possess excellent presentation, communication, and coaching skills
  • Professional appearance and presentation
